The Wisdom Of A Cat
You'd think she came from royalty
By the regal way she acts
She choses the visitors she'd like to see
That's the wisdom of a cat
To us they're adorable felines
With superior attitudes
But please don't take offense at that
Or ever think they're rude
A cat never listens to commands
SIT, STAY, and words like that
You may think that's a lack of respect
But that's the wisdom of a cat
She climbs in places hard to see
As you search until you're blue
You're worried that she has gotten out
As she nonchalantly watches you
But you know that we adore them
And somehow they sure know that
We treat them all like "Kings" & "Queens"
That's the wisdom of a cat
