It's sad to have a really close friend
One that you thought would be there 'til the end

A friendship that was so sacred and strong
Who made everything right
when things seemed so wrong

It seems so tragic, It can make you cry
It's so hard to watch a friendship die

Did I say or do anything that made you turn away
Was it something that I should have done
Or something that I forgot to say

We've been through hell and heaven together
And been there for each other in all our endeavors

I know that my entire life I'll always wonder why
It's hard NOT to know the reason
As you watch a friendship die

I miss you my friend
